Whats with all the Mesa attempted kamikaze attacks on SkyWest as of late?

First the runway incursion at LAX a few months back, now blasting bag carts at passengers?

done....and its yes....if the bright eyed, subsidised by mommy and daddy, pilot wouldnt want to fly the biggest plane he can get his hands on so he can tell people hes a pilot AND throws banana peels in front of other pilots to get the so called coveted 1000 pic ,he IS a part of the problem and a BIG part of it.....

how can pilots at a major stand a chance to negotiate anything when there are thousands of little Johnnys nipping at their heels that will fly their planes and routes for less than minimum wage......

I guess I should have rephrased, I dont think it was the little Johnnys that had anything to do with it originally, thats pretty obvious. I can agree that having someone drooling over flying some little jet and getting paid peanuts for it is part of the problem and will be a road block for any future progress, if any progress is even possible at this point.

So the current state wasnt caused by the guy drooling over a jet, but the future sure will be. I think thats a fair way to put it.

Mesa has been in growth mode for years and probably has some of the lowest time Captains out there. Mistakes are made and the PIC should be dealt with according to the circumstances.

Quit bashing each other for something that could easily happen to you tomorrow, and if you think you're immune you've already broken the first link in the accident chain.

Word is United will drop them plane by plane soon and will only have a few left in DCA.

Delta is also going to drop them and their 36 pos erjs they have.

US Air HATES them

Its finally starting. Mesa will finally start shrinking because they offer such a bad product with unsafe pilots.

Really Super? Mesa has all the unsafe pilots??? Was it mesa that " DUDE! 4-1-0'd IT" into the dirt? Was it mesa that almost look the wrong plane. Then took off an unlight 3500 runway in the dark and BBQ'd the passengers? Was it mesa that went off the runway in MKE after continuing with a hydraulic failure, or took off with out a clearence in BOS???

SuperKooter why don't you try shut'n your mouth. You could be the next incident that ends up being talked about on this board. You might want to watch it before you make comments like that.

It appears every airline has pilots who simply lack situational awareness--this manifestation is just another example. Mesa, unfortunately, in this case is not alone.

the complaining and name calling is so frustrating to me.... i get blown all over the place by other airplanes... no doubt the cap that did this is dancing at the CP's office as we speak and I bet he or she feels like an a##.

You have to remember that these people that are trying to make Mesa look bad are doing so for a reason. They are scared for their jobs. Do not take it personal, as most of these scmucks writing on here have ALOT less experience and are just satisfying the need to make themselves look important. Really, do not sweat it. At least we know how to line up on the CORRECT runway.
