gunfyter he announced he was "dead wrong" on his projections and blamed the loses on increasing costs. The writer claimed it was a direct reference to the pilot contract. Here is the link if you are interested. http://www.nxtbook.com/nxtbooks/mh/shownews101806/index.php

Can you read? The dead wrong statement was in reference to 2005, pre contract, when everyone was flying the pledge. Is your english really that bad that you cannot read what is written in front of you? Gunfyter is right, profit for 2006.

I guess we will wait for the third quarter filings. The reference was that netjets continues to lose money this was the announcement made during the nbaa. Hopefully they made lots of money that is good for all of us. If they lost money again it is not.

The Buffet reference is old news...2005 10-K comments. That being said, there are all kinds of creative things that can be done to improve the "profitability" picture over a couple of quarters. A sustainable business that is resistent to the overall economic cycles will only be built by an operator that can consistently make money on flight operations alone. That is:

Flight fees + management fees + misc fees > DOCs and fixed costs (including overhead)

Note that share sales and cost of sales are excluded, but core fleet and charter expenses are included. Share sales numbers are the most vulnerable to economic cycles, and from an accounting perspective can be manipulated to drive significant short term improvements.

Yeah the only problem is that was NOT the announcement at NBAA. Those statements were lifted from an old document on 2005 performance

It's funny how P180PUKE and Pebbles just disappear when something good happens around here.... ya know?

Nothing "good" has happened yet. It's simply an announcement for an aircraft that won't be available for at least a couple years. A lot can happen in that time. Besides, it's not really any different from the Piaggio, except for not having props.....

No I don't mean the airplane, I mean the fact that the company is back on its feet.

I'm busy for a while, come back and your still at it flybet.

What a child.

I'm hoping for good things. Trying to stay positive, but let's not start rejoicing yet. Things are looking better around the workplace but the deal still has to be approved by the shareholders. Something that is obviously over your head. The company's "back on it's feet": is that what you gather from an order for 20 aircraft that don't exist yet? Regardless of the Phenom order, let's hope so. We (not you) worked hard for it.

You're a punk b.v.. Have been since you arrived here and your posts support it. You have nothing of any intelligence to inject, just foulmouthed laden outburts.

Isn't your x-box calling?
