I'm looking for tip on how to eat healthy on the go. What are some things that you pack to bring along on your trips? Not only would it be nice to cut down on the cost of eating out all of the time, but processed crachers and peanuts just aren't going to cut it.

avocados, soy beans, power bars, beef jerky and tuna..but the smell can be overwhelming to some crew members.

How about a FA !

eat what most F/A's eat, DONG!!!

Natural almonds and/or pecans, mozzarella cheese sticks, cans of V-8, a couple of oranges, hard boiled eggs.

This is a great thread! How many times do you find yourself on the road eating pure garbage and feeling sluggish? I once heard that pilots sometimes use fructose (you can buy in a health store) as a substitute to processed or refined sugar. Lower your carb in take ( unless you are a runner or work-out on the road and stick with protein, skim milk, and complex carbohydrates instead.

The older you become the less calories you will need, however including skim milk in your diet is a great fat burner (about 24 ounces in a 24 hour period).

If you feel fatigued, drink more water as well, as being in the plane too long, can really dehydrate you severly.

Here is a great choice of foods: Dark green leafy veggies, fish, oranges, tomatoes, some nuts, tea for flouride, whole grain pasta, breads or rolls, and occaisional piece of dark chocolate, grape juice or a glass or red wine while on the road. Limit the beer, this is full of carbs and your belly might get tooooooooo big!
