Zantop L-188's being destroyed

Sad. Supposedly- (according to my pop) one of those Electras was the Dodgers club plane during the 60's. He was one of the ball club's pilots before moving to the 121 world. I think I'll keep it to myself that the Zantrop L188's are no more. :(
 
Don't know if your into building scale model airplanes or not,but with your Dad having flown the Dodgers L188A years ago,you might be interested to know that there is a decal sheet available for purchase where you can build a model of your Dad's old airplane. By the way ,did your Dad fly the B720B that replaced the Electra ? My Dad's retired A/C Maintenance Supervisor for American and they handled the contract MX on the airplane when the Dodgers flew into New York to play the Mets. Small world,huh ?
