Fn Fal....first, your avatar is great!!!

Second, ill bite, why did the 15 year old amish kid cross the road?
I have no idea..."to get to the other side", would suffice.

As for the avatar, I picked it out from some images hosted by Michael Light and then did some changes to it in order to make it more interesting.

Here's the original still photograph:

I think the blimp and mushroom cloud show a stark difference in military technology and if you look closely enough, it appears as though there are people standing next to the blimp.

I can only wonder what she would think if she came across this thread!
That would be interesting to watch.

If not SWA, it'll be CAL... guaranteed. There are women out there that'll say there's no favoritism or quotas, they don't get any special breaks... to which I say bull$hit. CAL has a recent new hire female who went from college kid/XJT intern to CFI to XJT FO to mainline in roughly 4 years. I can't imagine that happening to a regular old white guy... as if she's more highly qualified than a high time regional captain or freight dog. Yeah, right.[/quote

Oh boy....here we go.

Once again the law of flightinfo is proved. For the uninformed that is : "the more pages a thread has on flightinfo the more it degenerates into crap"

"Back in '74 I was flying for a 135 outfit in the Midwest. Got a call at 11pm to fly a body from a morgue in Omaha, NE to DSM, IA in a Piper Navajo. Grabbed some Taco Bell on the way to the airport. Ate in the car on the way, didn't think much about it. Quick pre-flight, the hurse showed-up with a body bag. 3 guys loaded the body in the back, signed some paperwork, and I blasted off headed east to DSM. About 30 mins into the flight, 9000 feet, clear smooth.....all-hell broke loose within my inner bowels. I grimmaced. Shifted from left buttcheek, to right buttcheek, and back and forth, but no-luck. I knew few FBO's in po-dunk Iowa would have facilities open at 1a.m. I put my trusty faith in the autopilot, crawled in back. No one at the controls! Unzipped the body bag. Squatted over the body, a foot on either side of the dead body. Blasted my load.....man that never felt so good. Zipped up the body bag and crawled back up front.
In DSM, I've never heard a bunch of funeral home directors complaint about a body's smell while unloading in all my life. I stayed in the plane because I was laughing my-ass-off so hard.
Blasted off and returned to home base in Omaha. Never told anyone til' today!Back in '94 I was flying for a 135 outfit in the Midwest. WOW that really is turning a thread into crap!

Seriously, though. back to the original intent (?) of this thread... Does she really wear those pants to work? Cause, while I can appreciate the hard work to sculpt one's body in such a way, I have seen some younger female FO's wearing similar pants walking around on the ramp. While it's not offensive, it is definitely of questionable professionalism, IMO. I mean, I spend hours in the gym sculpting my massive guns, but I resist wearing the cut-off uniform shirt, as a service to my passengers. Seriously though, am I the only one who thinks this is a little out of line? The uniform is not necessarily supposed to flatter your every curve.

I don't know if this young lady dresses that way at work, or if it was just for the picture. Regardless, shouldn't somebody say something if this is going on at work?

That's why I posted this picture on the "Beat a Dead Horse" thread. I was just curious what the people who want to confront someone about not wearing a hat would say about it. To me the skin tight stripper pant are as unprofessional looking as someone without a hat or carrying a backpack. (I'm guilty of the former, not the latter.)

At ASA there's a "big guns" Captain (previously mentioned on this Board) who wears a shirt that's a bit too tight with the sleeves rolled up. Doesn't look all that "professional", but hey, he's a good guy and cool to fly with. I was just curious if there would be a double standard between him and this girl.

If they get the pants from the uniform company how can it be labeled as questionable professionalism?

In addition, if combining two careers helps you gross 24 or 25k a year, you should be alowed some leeway when selecting service industry attire.

If she got the pants at a uniform company then you're right, there's nothing to say. I just can't seem to remember the uniform companies I've been to selling tight, low rise dress pants as part of the uniform so I kind of doubt that's the case. Then again, Captain "Big Guns" at ASA bought his shirts through a uniform company too.

Guess the key to it for both of them would be to find the right size and cut.

Sweet! You just gave me a plausible excuse for not wearing my hat! My old one got crushed in the trunk under my golf bag and I can't afford to buy a new one. Yeah, that's the ticket!:D

Whats wrong w/ showing off the guns if you have them. It's a lot more professional than Capt FatAzz, that can't even see his toes. There's nothing wrong with the pants this girl has on. Give her a break. She worked hard for her body why not show it off. Just like a lot of guys ate hard for that gut and they show that off as well.

Is she wearing WHITE SOCKS in that full uniform pic shamrock posted?? That's the worst offense. And I don't see a camel toe....

And, yes, those pants are unprofessional. But until she realizes that, I'll enjoy a look.

I agree BJJ. I personally don't think the look is all that appropriate, other than for it's gawk factor, but I really couldn't care less about her pants. I too would have more of a problem with a guy with sweat stains, ring around the collar, and his gut hanging over his belt than I would with this girl, but even then I don't really care. I comment here only because it seems that some would say Captain FatAzz looks more professional than her simply because he's wearing his hat, even if it too is sweat stained and has been sat on at the buffet table so many times it fold flat.

Well I don't visit these sites much but I heard I was the topic of conversation so I came to check it out. Let's clarify a couple things...

The pants...what a hot topic..lol. Those were bought specially for that photo shoot and yes i wanted them snug.. .and guess what else? The shirt has been laundry clipped in the back to be fitted. For pictures yall!!

I have never worn a cut off tshirt to jumpseat in...come on now...that's just ridiculous and I agree would be completely unprofessional. :)

As I am a competitor and fitness model, my website was created to promote myself within the fitness industry. Do this mean showing a little skin? Sure it does! This can still be done in an appropriate and tactful way which is what I feel I have done.

Thanks to all of you who have offered kind words, encouragement and support. It is much appreciated.

Last time I checked, it was a good thing to have something going on besides this flying gig. I learned early on it isnt the most reliable career :) I do love the flying, I love fitness, and I am very HAPPY with life..and that my friends is what is really important :)

Welcome back. That should shut everyone (myself included) up.

I was wondering how long it would take for you to hear about this.

Good for michelle for enjoying her life though, and shame on you guys for making fun of her. I bet you guys are to ugly to put your pics on Flightinfo...

I would have no problem flying with her. Would I hit on her ? nope. why would I want to. tons of beautiful chicks outside of aviation available. I learned my lessons after dating 3 SkyWest fa's and 2 PCL fa's.... no more aviation chicks for this guy!

Flying with a woman is an exercise in political correctness and you can't even let a fart fly once in a month. It plainly blows. And never say to one "keep it out of the grass and we'll be fine".

thats pretty much what I was saying :)...

Man sometimes I wish i am a women!! would be sweet to fly at FedEx with 2000TT
