What is the universal remote trick?

That's when you use your universal remote to access the setup screen on the hotel TV to "unblock" the channels used for PPV movies. :)

-You contemplate why the airlines run ontime when you begin a tour.

-and how when airlining home-the first leg is almost always delayed, yet the connecting flight to your gateway is on time, causing a mis-connect, and the result is getting home hours later than planned.

But not late enough to get an overtime day...

What I want to know

That reminds me of another one from the homefront----

Why is it that we have good weather when it is NOT my turn to do the school run, but as soon as he goes on tour the weather turns bad and I'm out there in the freezing cold scraping ice off the car windows?

Thanks for wasting our time with your cheap remarks. Good luck in your career.

Guys dont listen to heavy, he is not a pilot, he is a wantabee pilot, you can tell by his posts he is NOT A PILOT. Uhhh.....he'll ask whats it like to fly a 747, or a Learjet, and so on.........or what type of sked do you have, if he was a pilot he would know these things and not ask stupid questions. Duhhhh... Maybe UAL is wet leasing the plane for the day......that was the best one of all. His "pilot time" comes from message boards and magazines.....LOL

I was thinking he was a furloughed NW pilot. How else would he have known that Mesaba is the only operator of the RJ85? If he's a wanna be then he can have mine, I'm starting to feel like a wanta be something else these days.

Perhaps he's ridden on one before and hasn't seen any other 85's with another livery. But he's still wrong because Air Wisconsin operates them too.

Air Wisconsin does not operate the Avro RJ85 - just the older version 146... The RJ85 is the newer version I believe and Mesaba is the only operator of the newer version in North America if memory serves. I believe Air Whisky and Jazz operate the older 146... I agree, maybe Heavy flew on the RJ85 as a passenger and was familiar...
