Please do NOT call to submit your stuff. The application process has changed and phone calls, emails or faxes are not going to help. Just go with the online process. Once your app has been accepted, an occasional online update is fine. Once you have made it to the phone interview process, then an occasional call is acceptable.

As for who to address your cover letter to, Pilot Recruitement will work just fine. Our CP and DO won't see the cover letter until long after it has been submitted.

Whatever you do, PLEASE proofread your cover letter and resume. You wouldn't believe what has been submitted. I can only hope that the guys that told us how much they've always wanted to fly for Northwest Airlines or Omni Air Helicopters in their cover letter get a clue and figure out their mistake. Or the guy that submitted the wrong file in place of his resume...I hope he got that dispute with the Subway Sandwiches manager worked out!!!

So no one gets nervous, interviewing and hiring will be slowing down for the rest of 2007. This is directly a result of factory-induced delays in the delivery schedule on our previously ordered aircraft. There are hundreds of applications already in the system, so it may take some time. We want the aircraft as quickly as we can get our hands on them, but we have to be smart in not hiring faster than demand calls for.

Hang in there, and good luck!
