Any idea how long the typical wait is to hear after one fills out the application? Are they hiring co-pilots, captains or both? The numbers listed on the website are listed as competitive, whats the typical times guys are getting hired with? Also could you give a quick run down of the interview process.

Thanks T-bone.

I did the app in Dec. Now word yet. I have updated several times. I don't have an internal rec. This may be the reason or it may because I live in OMA.

I have heard they require a type in the X, is this bad info?

Yes, that is bad info.

Nothing is typical about who we've hired when it comes to flight experience. We've hired guys with 2500 hours, and we've hired guys with 26000 hours. We've also turned down guys with 14000 hours.

We're looking for guys that live on the east coast. If you live out there (NY area) or are willing to relocate, that will help your cause.

Good luck.

Did I read that some Challenger 300 positions have also moved forward and that pilots are already training for the CL300? If so, how many will you get through 2008?

We've had 3 go through CL300 training so far, but that's just so that we can start building our 300 training program. All 3 went through Part 61 training curriculums. We may interview a few 300 qualified guys here pretty soon to assist in building the program. First delivery is scheduled for September, with 3-5 (depending on who you ask) to be delivered by the end of 2008.

18 CE750s currently on property, and i think that number will be up to around 28 by the end of the year.

We'll start using our XOJET callsign here pretty soon, too...for whatever that's worth!

XOJET Hires Eilif Serck-Hanssen as Chief Financial Officer and President International
Monday March 24, 2:06 pm ET

SAN CARLOS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--XOJET today announced the appointment of Eilif Serck-Hanssen to the position of chief financial officer and president of international operations and expansion.
“Eilif is a highly respected strategic and financial executive with strong airline experience and a deep understanding of our business. We are thrilled that he has joined the XOJET team,” said Paul Touw, CEO, XOJET. “Eilif will be a significant asset as we continue on our path to becoming a billion dollar company.”

Prior to joining XOJET, Serck-Hanssen served as executive vice president and chief financial officer for Eos Airlines, Inc., the first airline dedicated exclusively to premium long-haul business travel, operating between major business centers of the US, UK and the Middle East. At Eos, Serck-Hanssen was instrumental in securing the funding required to build out the airline, as well as directing fleet acquisition for growth.

Prior to Eos, Serck-Hanssen was US Airways’ senior vice president and treasurer with responsibility for the restructuring that culminated in the merger with America West. Previously, as assistant treasurer and head of the financial planning function at Northwest Airlines, he led multi-billion dollar financings and enforced strong financial controls that delivered industry leading unit cost performance. Before joining Northwest Airlines, Eilif served as chief financial officer for one of PepsiCo’s international business units in Asia.

“XOJET’s innovative approach to private aviation has driven its rapid revenue growth, customer adoption and business expansion, which is particularly notable for a new aviation industry entrant,” said Serck-Hanssen. “I look forward to working with the management team and investors to build on this solid foundation, and seize the tremendous global market opportunities ahead.”

T-bone... is it a must to have an internal LOR?

Also, does being typed in one of those 4 planes help your cause?

Finally, does XOJET frown on 121 guys?

Thanks!
