There were only a handfull that held it with that hire date. Also they were the very first class to be hired and were in training with recalled classes. There was a 2 1/2 year gap with no hiring. Nope, I don't think the job security at SWA is as good as everyone thinks it is. It's only a matter of time before those fuel hedges start to disappear and then they won't be turning a profit anymore. The only thing making SWA profitable this year is fuel hedging. Pretty soon they'll have to compete without that safety net.miles otoole said:Southwest.
