XJT to allocate 9 planes to fly for UAL and no new bases. I may of been wrong about the announcement coming either last Thursday or Friday but it will come soon.

Yeah yeah, Skywest unbderbids and makes no money... hmm. Let me see. Skywest has $80 million sitting ata a bank with a lousy interest rate... now they have it invested at 11% interest with United, and 40 aircraft guaranteed flying for 8 years. Does not sound like the kind of business other carriers do these days.

XJT guys, stop talking like the chatty Cathy Asa girls on here. Once it's done then share it with them on their message board.

Big Lebowski......... How's ben been..?

That's what happens when you have roughly 900 Million sitting in the bank. Options to do pretty much anything you want become aplenty. We saw what Republic did with their cash....The only other "Regional" with any significant cash sitting around is SkyWest Inc. Some pretty seriously smart folks over there in St. Jorge.

AWAC has cash piles that probably rival Skywest... but then again the owners will probably pocket said cash.

With this industry, combined with United, do you think anything is guaranteed?

8 years is pretty long to "gurantee" something as far as a regional/legacy partnership goes.
