Not at all, the deal with CAL is not producing any profit and if this is the same then how many more quarters can XJT go before the cash runs out?

They'll be able to go a lot longer with the extra planes flying at a small loss rather than flying corporate(read as doing nothing) and bleeding cash.

and that is exacly why the stock performed the way it did today and is expected to continue to climb. 1 year estimate...BEFORE this announcement was $10. This is good news to Xjet...no matter how hard the depression crowd on here tries to paint a bad picture.

Per the CEO, our agreement with CAL is profitable at a certain block hour level, we are not at that level, if successful in the bid for UAL flying we would be. If XJT gave UAL the same deal as CAL then the result should be a about a 4% profit on contract flying. He also said that 4-6% is about the historical average profit that airlines make.

I think it's funny that people are mystified that XJT got more flying.

How dare they not play by the "rules!" The rules being, major carrier gives regional carrier more 70-90 seat flying, regional carrier does more work for the same cost. Pilots keep mouth shut and take an extra $3-5/hr and accept "growth" as a form of compensation.
