Actually 1 for 3. I am sitting in a pool and swimming in water that is really deep.
First was the XJT interview in Feb. I did well in the jepp charts and tech. The HR was fine but I didn't want to go to EWR. That was a bad mistake. I would love to have that chance to say YES I LOVE NY.
Next was the airline I am in the pool with. Interviewed in April. Everything went great. I felt confident and excited to be there. After the sim, the person evaluating me said that that was the best he had ever seen. We did an arc, vor-dme approach, missed VOR hold and full procedure ndb. I felt good about the whole thing.
In may I did the SkyWest thing (my number 1 choice). The writtens were fine. I went over them about 4 times and changed two answers that were right. I went over the ATP and mechanical aptitude when i got back. I got a 88% on the ATP and 85% on the mech. The tech went ok. Had trouble on the indepth things of a turbine engine other things went fine. Sim was Awsome, held altitude within 50-100 feet the whole time. All procedures were fine I thought. I guess I got a 34 on that part, I saw my score. CRM was fine, the two guys I was with were cool and we worked it together. The letter said that I need more flight time and qualifications. Talked to Cassidy and said to call here when the 6 months are up. At SkyWest I had 2 friends (pilots) write letters of rec.
Just going to keep on plugging away.
