What kind of flying does XJT do in SJU? Saw a couple of the branded aircraft down there. My buddy tells me it's charter, however, it seems like these flights are always scheduled at the same time every day. Do you guys have a small base there or do you DH crews?

They are charter flights. As with any charter, crews will typically DH on the front or back side of the pairing.

They are usually very senior pilots. As far as where they go...only the people in the Charter Department have that info. Us lowly line guys aren't privy to that info.

Top secret huh? I'll peep the deets next trip down to SJU! :)

I was down there on a turn from ATL recently and I heard one of them on clearance delivery going to Punta Cana.
