I have no idea what that says. However, I do know that the CPA prohibts ExpressJet Airlines from flying hub to hub on a revenue flight. CAL schedules the flights, so they control that. Care to translate your post?

wha?

Just what I said, Express did some hub to hub flights last week. This capt went to iah for a pc. He tried to come back on a positive space pass and was denied. anyone know what is going on besides the dumb ass who says translate your post. Sheeeze what a moron.

You were all over the map with your post. I apologize, but it didn't make sense to me when I read it.

When was the hub to hub flight? Unless it was a repo flight or a diversion, we wouldn't have done it. We can't. Plain and simple. CAL would never put it on our schedule and they sell the seats. Was this a claim from the CAL captain? Maybe he was just looking for a reason to be a d!ck. Either way, I doubt we did a hub to hub (unless it was a ferry flight or diversion).

We had the same thing with the little red tails (aka... NW Airlinks)... Northwest scope explicitly prohibits hub to hub flight by airlinks... Well, 9E has been doing it now for quite some time... And Northwest is the one who creates these schedules... Way of the future...

I havent heard anything of revenue flight at XJT between the hubs... but I had done CLE-EWR as an empty repositioning leg when I was on reserve.

Just finished a 4 day and saw a few of these flights. They were last minute add-ons to cover the obscene amount of denied boarding pax. Mostly reserve crews flying them. The trips were not in any bid pack or line. Apparently it screws with the system when everyone shows up for their flights.

Maybe that explains the IAH-LAX flight I saw on Saturday with an empty repo back to IAH.

As far as a Captain denying boarding to a Pos. Space Express pilot, that guy is just an a$$.

I think the deal with Pinnacles hub to hub flights is that NWA's definition of a regional jet does not include jets with less than 45 seats. Hub to hub flights are are flown with 44 seat A/C. At least the ones that I've done.

That could be true... I thought it was an "any / all airlink" prohibition deal... But I don't have any first hand knowledge outside of fuzzy memories...

XJT added some IAH-EWR segements this weekend because of all the revenue standby pax that were not going to get anywhere for a couple of days. I'm not sure what the load factors were over the weekend but the airport was a mess. I just finished a 4-day trip with 12 legs and had 50 pax on each leg and jumpseaters on 6 of the 12. None of the pax that we carriered were non-revs.

I just finished a 4 day IAH-XNA-EWR... the first segment was booked to 28 and the second was booked to 30... There were 30 non-revs each trying to get all the way to EWR... it worked for most of them execept for the 3 people we left in XNA..... sorry guys. I felt bad

He was denied a PS seat because going home from training he is only listed as a PS5. A PS5 seat and 4 bucks will get you a cup of coffee and thats about it. The only thing you bump with a PS5 pass is nonrevs. Not revenue. You only revert to a PS0 seat on the last flight of the day.

When I finished upgrade I couldn't get back on a PS5 after being in that rathole Houston for three weeks. Supervisor was the one to deny me. Ended up having to go through outstation with Express. March in IAH is a disaster with the Spring Break crowd. Although college girls with fresh tans has a nice upside.

When do we get to start flying the 190's hub to hub?

I've flown revenue Hub-to-Hub before. No big deal.

What I wanna know is what is up with all the 1000 flight numbers?

I heard a "Jetlink 1218" the other day in EWR and assumed it was a charter but have heard similar flight numbers several times with other iterations of a 1000 number.

XJT Flights to and from EWR to and fromDCA, BOS and IAD all carry a 1200 series flight number (messes me all up when I do 'em). This indicated that these are Terminal A flights. They either originate or terminate in Terminal A in EWR. The 1200 flights distiguish them from the rest of the XJT flights going to C2.

Us Airways Exp Operates flights on the Weekend. CLT-PHL and CLT-PIT.
Daily Express Service from PIT-PHL.

Just curious...Do you know which Express carrier is doing this, and with what aircraft? Thanks!

I have flown the PHL-CLT flight once last month, and come to think of it I thought it was daily at that point. It made no sense, we (awac) did the flight and 5 gates over CHQ was doing the same flight with the same 10am departure time. 2 RJs doing the same flight on the same day at the same time, just throw a 737 on it.

Wow. I wonder how much they paid the guy that came up with that idea. It is a smart one.
