Master Shake said:Just finished a 4 day and saw a few of these flights. They were last minute add-ons to cover the obscene amount of denied boarding pax. Mostly reserve crews flying them. The trips were not in any bid pack or line. Apparently it screws with the system when everyone shows up for their flights.

I heard a "Jetlink 1218" the other day in EWR and assumed it was a charter but have heard similar flight numbers several times with other iterations of a 1000 number.![]()

They either originate or terminate in Terminal A in EWR. The 1200 flights distiguish them from the rest of the XJT flights going to C2.
