Might be time to flush this turd.
xjhawk said:well, its amazing that since NWA has the right to increase its 76 seat regional feeder.....in essence, make a crap load of money when they get a fleet of those planes running, that NWA has not started that ball a rolling.......in other words, what are they waiting for?
I am sure, there are a few regionals out there, like mesa or Chitaqua who could undercut XJ, so why have they not gone with them? well, i will think they are waiting......well, lets make them wait some more.
Some of my thoughts on this matter.
I think this whole thing is a sham, NWA MAIR and MESAba. I at first said i would not sign anything short of a payraise.
Then i was frustrated, listened to my union rep tell me that they had in fact proposed cuts, and then gave it some thought, then thought i could stomach a 5-8 % paycut if they came with some aircraft.........but i felt like it was a sellout......and was pissed at myself but just wanted this entire thing over with....
Now, it seems to me, that MR woerth has stepped in and told our MEC chair, Mr wychor that signing a substandard contract was unacceptable (which is funny since he signed so many of those in the past few years.......whats ALPA nationals agenda?) that entire thing seems fishy.....except when under attack, it seems when you are desperate, you seem to be able to accept help from those who might not have your own best interest at heart.....but i really wish ALPA national had us regional pilots best wishes at heart....
NOW what i feel.....i say we do exactly as we did when they offered us those CRJ's, we just say no thanks to the cuts and negotiations, give them a list of our terms which we will work with, and walk until they can come to terms with it. Oh, and here is an idea, have Pinnacles MEC and our MEC put the same request in, say we will not undercut one another, and both walk out. Who give a crap about any railway labor act, its all a big corporate tool anyways........and screw this industry...........dam....maybe just screw XJ and NWA can i say screw on this forum.......sorry i guess

In order to get out of this mess we need a PRO LABOR president. Elect your congressman that is pro union and see we all can live like a republican if we vote democrat!

Who should the pilots vote for? Tree Hugger and Fossil Fuel hater Gore???? Planes burn gas don't they??? We are the enemy. Wake up, fool. Dems say they are the party for the oppressed (insert minority status here) and desperately hope that they can keep the conditions poor for the afore mentioned minority so as they can keep getting the votes. Republicans aren't any better either.
