I have to agree. I truly tried to get swaped out the trip, but with being off for the rest of the month, calling in sick was not an option. Not sicking out with a current employer to interview with a prospective employer is just good work ethic. If I did that, it would show a level of truthfullness that is not me. It may be a few months, but it is what it is, and honesty is always the best policy. From my interactions with World. It is a good company and I hope that I will get a call again soon...

I hope you do,too!! Good luck. You made the right call in not calling in sick,as hard as it may have been.

The funny thing is that they called me on the day of the other interview session. I was a good experience, and I do think that the organization is a hidden jewel in this industry. I was amazed with the health care costs and a bunch of other things.
It all worked out in the end and now I am waiting for the final nod.

Yes, I know that out of the seven guys that interviewed in the first session last week, six of us have been offered a job with a Jan 10th class date. Five of us have been offered the MD-11 and one has been offered the 10. I am not sure how the second session faired.

All I can say is that I was very lucky with the sim ride. I guessed correctly with the NDB hold entries.
On another note I am going to take the job and bypass on my reinterview at DAL in Early FEB. Most think I am nuts, but I think there is more pain to be had at DAL.
