"i wanted to hear it from the horses mouth"

How about this from the horses mouth; you are a moron. Go back to your La Aeroidiot school , or whatever it's called, and let those more capable defend America.

Toolbag

You're interested in knowing why everyone continues to come back to "complain". Wake up you gimp, you're an easy target and it is hard to resist. Not since Patmack has a tool bag like yourself come on this board and run his big mouth. BTW before you start whining about how unproductive this post is, you might want to consider how you're going to make it through training when you can't even control your emotions on a message board. If you maturity level doesn't change, you can forget about ever setting foot in a cockpit. Oh one more thing... STAY AWAY FROM THE AIR NATIONAL GUARD.

LOL

This is the funniest thread I've ever read.

But I do have to admit I liked some of the sage advice.

For my part I have to say that starting your aviation career as soon as possible is critical.

Quitting school is certainly the first step but the next step is to become a member of the US army ASAP. The army takes only about ten percent of the WOFT candidates from the civilian side which is why it is so hard to find a recruiter that knows how to do it. They take 90% from within their ranks.

D Morris, the answer is obvious. Get into the army first then you'll be able to get that WOFT slot. But don't wait. Those slots are going pretty fast and you don't want to miss out. Write us all when you get to boot camp and let us know how its going. I think you're great. You're just about the funniest guy I've ever seen on this board (well of course there's avbug/roach, but besides him).

This guy is a first-class tool. He not only can't spell (his 85 on the ASVAB doesn't suprise me) but he's also managed to completely piss off the guys who are in a position to help him most.

DMorris ... The Army is gonna luuuuuuv you. Have you considered the Infantry? You are definitely Infantry Officer material. :D

Humor to No end!

I have to admit, I agree wholly with the post above. Quit school as soon as possible. Join the Army. I am sure as soon as humanly possible they will push you up to the Chief of Staff or maybe make you the Commander of the War Fighting Center (formerly known as “Home of Army Aviation”) I know I am probably someone you don’t want to hear from either, because you have so much experience and I am so new to the Army and Aviation.

I am glad to see the drive you have to join our illustrious brotherhood, and I wish more people would.

However I hope they will have more tact and sense to know when to keep their ears open and mouths closed. The problem I have seen recently is people like you. Expect everything to be given to them. I had to work very hard for what I have, and paid my dues in more than one way. I even got my information the old fashioned way by reading books, doing research, and talking to experienced veterans. No Internet when I came in. So when people offered their help I took it all in. Even if I didn’t agree with it I said thanks and moved on. For you however I think you should go learn some humility and dig some fox holes for a while and then apply for flight training.

I also hope you do join the Army and become an Army Aviator so you can come to my unit (and I will know it’s you because you already gave me, and all my co workers that teach at the school house your name,) so you can be assessed and maybe if you make the grade we will let you join our brotherhood and fly with us or maybe send you packing back to the foxhole/KP brigade so you don’t kill our brothers with your ill begotten audacity and flagrant disrespect for those who know more than you and try to help you.

On second thought Stay Home. Go to your nice religious college and become a clergyman because if you make a mistake at that no one dies. Our business is serious and if you can’t take criticism you shouldn’t be here, I have too many dead friends because the other guy in the cockpit didn’t listen to the more experienced guy.

I am here to help!

First, I know you are attending a rich boys school and I am sure the professors are excellent but I cant understand why your grammer is so HORRIBLE. Here are some quotes from your lost posting:

"like i said before i didnt"
(Capitalize the word "I")

" that i can. yall dont"
(Capitalize the first letter in a sentance. What word is "yall"?)

"im telling yall, its in yalls hands"
(See above)

" im no saying yall should "
(Say again?)

Next, you can go back and delete/modify your previous postings.

Lastly, join the the Peace Corps not the military. You couldnt fight your way out of a wet paper bag.

Sorry one moment, and back to angry the next. I thought this was pretty humorous, but then it finally came to me... this guy has a real mental disability of some sort, quite possibly needing professional help. I think we should all observe a moment of thanks that we are happy, healthy, and most of all not poor D Morris.

Mr M, please, we all beg of you... there are people out there willing to help you in this your time of great need. While you are in recovery, please order a copy of Hooked On Phonics. I will even pay for it. Somehow basic grammar school spelling, diction and syntax are kicking your a.ss; nothing that about five or six years of study won't cure. You are certainly right, an average joe like me would have no chance of getting into the great caliber of school that would accept a mental giant such as yourself.

Who knows, someday you may surpass everyone's expectations, and find yourself replacing Gary the Retard, or even Beetle Juice on the Howard Stern show. Good Luck, and Godspeed young man!

i have just as much right to serve in the military flight program as yall.

its in yalls hands to change the opinion many have of the military and all that yall are involved in.

D. Morris,

First, no one has a right to serve in the U.S. military. It is a privilege and a responsibility to serve in the U.S. Armed Forces. Not everyone earns that privilege or is deemed worthy of the responsibility. Furthermore, military flight programs are selective, not welfare programs. Thousands of folks are rejected yearly.

Second, I didn't join the USAF to change public opinion. I raised my hand to serve my country as needed and determined by those appointed above me. If doing my duty honorably with dignity has a positive effective on that opinion well that's just a bonus. Service is often thankless. Ask a Vietnam Vet the next time you see one.

Most Americans have a very positive image of the U.S. military. If a portion of teenagers and young twenty somethings think less of our military, that is their right, courtesy of many brave men and women who lost their lives to provide that right.

Check your emotion at the door before entering this forum, and never bring it into a cockpit. Your apology will carry far more weight without all the whining attached to it. Simply state your apology and move on.

And as far as your comment "i only consider the navy, corps , and army as service", nice way to insult every USAF officer on this forum. Did they teach you that at your Univ. or where you born with the ability to offend people?

Do yourself a favor...log off this forum and go to your library and check out "How to Win Friends and Influence People"

Please don't even think about thinking of replying. Cut your losses, change you name, and pray. You're in way over your head and the water rising. There are too many sharp military officers on this forum who will simply toy with you.

Now, logoff the computer and head to the library.

Is "yall" a word in the dictionary? Nothing wrong with being from the south, but smart southerners don't write "yall" ten times in a paragraph. Start shaping up your act by cleaning up your vocab and writing! Try capitalizing.
To keep from digging yourself deeper and deeper I think in the future you need to limit your replies here to the following...

Roger Sir!
Good Point Sir!
Thanks for the Info Sir!
I am trying Sir!

Or possibly an honest question without attitude, or the need to show us you are the man. Except the fact that you have a LOOoooong way to go Morris, once you have done that you might get some help.

Just because you are patriotic, does not automatically qualify you to be an officer, or a pilot. The Army is always looking for patriotic food service technicians to mix Army Kool-aid.

Wolf King....That is tooooo Funny!!! Thanks for the laugh..lol

lol Mr. Morris. You're bringing a lot of humor to my otherwise boring night of studying for finals.

That is it little boy. You blew it. You just could not keep your mouth zipped up. Tomorrow at work, my friends and I are going to make it our business to find the recruiter working the area of your school. We have your name, and your number. We will direct them to this link. Practice your Mickey D burger flipping. WOFT and the military is out for you buddy.

The military kinda has a thing about not letting racists into the military. They do not even let Cooks say "SPIC". You are an accident waiting to happen, and you are done!
