We have been told about how much it will cost our company, our job has been compared to others, and various subtle and not so subtle threats and intimidation tactics have been hurled at our group. In light of the current situation, please allow me, a pilot to give you a small glimpse into my world...

Gawd, I'm an ex-service man and this makes me want to throw up. No disrespect to fellow servicemen/women, past or present...but I don't know how in the hell you can rationalize 200K a year salaries at a private corporation just because a person flew aircraft in the military.

It is still a great job at $100K per year, which is above the income of 95% of the wage earners in the US. Plus you don't need to go to college to make that money. This is a job that can be done by anyone with a certaain level of skill and desire. Economics will dictate what wages will be.
