Not only that I've heard that some guys out there want to continue to get their 17 day lines at the cost of the less senior folks. Doesn't seem to be much cohesion or brother-hood out there.

Hopfully I'm wrong and things will work out for the best.

You are probably referring to this one tool that he is just a selfish idiot and thinks that he deserves to pick and choose how many days he wants to work because his time in the company. In a way he may be right, but he is just not been a team player like everyone else.

Seniority is a good thing and if worse comes to worse then let the junior guys go. But don't ask for extra days and put others on the street because you're unwilling to give up NFL Sunday gameday for a few months for example. You can change your spending in the short run to accomadate other peoples jobs; I'm prepared to do so and I hope others are as well.

you all had a chance to fix this with a union but everyone got bought by a $15000 pay raise and crawled back into their hole!

I said it once before here it is again!( see quote) Also why are people just volunteering to give things up when they have not even begun to fulough! I agree with you guys. We do not need to be talking about giving up anything. It sounded to me like the numbers he came up with are HIS best guess. Not sure how we went from being financially healthy to this situation in a month. I believe it would have been more productive to tell us to keep doing what we do and do our best to watch our expenses on the road. (which most of us already do) They really didnt need to broadcast the video in my opinon. But my opinon isnt worth much

So let’s just close this scary conversation about furlough that management hasn’t even mention with the actual words. Propilot is right!! WE ARE under budget actually by 12 million and still making money. This whole talk about furlough was originated by our own crewmember which is leading the rest to us to believe that we have to lower our standards and give up what we have in order to save the company and our jobs. This will only advantage management at the cost of this great pilot group.
CASE CLOSED…………LET’S GO BACK TO THE ORIGINAL TOPIC OF WHY MANAGEMENT REFUSES TO OPEN MORE BASES!!

There is no need to throw anyone under the bus for wanting to work. You have no idea what this person needs to supply for his family!! You have no idea what the anyone's situation is..... We all go to work to supply for our family and all else that each person is responsible for!! And until anyone knows everyone's story at Flexjet, Do not put anyone down for having to provide for whoever they are responsible for!! Furloughs suck....it's not anything we want or expect, BUT it is always a possiblity in any profession. For you nay sayers that want to cut back, then why not take a temporary leave to save jobs for others? What, no takers?? Why? You need a paycheck!!! And that is the bottom line. So if you are not in a position to take a leave of absence because you are so well off, then do not leave prejudice for those that NEED to work!!! Peace...

Not sure who this is directed at but I think you have to read over the thread again no one on here is talking about a certain person! I know what person you are talking about but this is not about that situation at all! His situation is completely different. I have done my part to help with that.
