I am going to call right now, I can't wait to jump at the opportunity. Mamma and Daddy will be so proud, I can finally tell them I am a professional pilot. I say we bombard the guy with e-mails of fake resumes.

Qualifications: Must hold an Airplane Multi Engine Land Commercial certificate with an instrument rating. Preferred flight hours are 500 hours total time and 100 hours multi-engine. The pilot must also have excellent Cockpit Management skills.Additional Information: The pilot is an employee, but holds a non-salaried position and no benefits.Contact: Bill Ebert 303-261-4070

Mr. Bill Ebert should stick that Navajo up his own arse-pipe, or fly the right seat for free himself...:uzi:

Flight time is purchased in 100- hour blocks, at a cost of $3,400 for the first block, and $2,000 for each additional block.

It gets worse....Pay For Training, Pay For Seat....Fake Furking Flying...

sweet, can you copy and paste what you sent, you rock

Why is it that management feels that they should be the only ones who need to get paid; and everyone elso should work for free.
Jeez! Anyone who applies for that position should consider the downstream consequences of their actions.
This is exactly why the race to the bottom is such a sucess. Because, there is some dumba$$ out there that is willing to do it.
Moral of the story: HAVE SOME SELF RESPECT! YOU ARE A PROFESSIONAL, DON"T SELL YOURSELF SHORT.

Okay, maybe i am missing something here, but isn't the PA-31 a single pilot airplane? Why are they even asking for a Co-pilot....you can't log any of the time from the right seat can you? Why would anyone do this, for free or not?

cNazi, I thought you were in it for the money and did not like to fly. Is there secret coming out here that you really like to fly?

Yup, ya are missing something:

They log it as PIC.

Cheaper than renting a Seneca........

Soooo, the Co-Pilot is logging the PIC, and the Captain is just not logging any flight time for the flight?

Well, so it seems...I don't have no details, but from the above it appears that the high bidder gets to log the PIC time..Or perhaps they both do,,Surprise, surprise.

Resumes

Are you guys sending your really resumes in the hope that this asshole calls so you can rip him a new one? Or fake ones? I want to help the cause here...

Send either, Depends on if you are man enough to "Tear the guy a new one" on the phone, or just want to inconvience him with a million fake resumes.

Dude, please... I wouldn't have a problem ripping this guy a new one in person...

  1. Why would anyone pay for this, why? SIC program in a PA-31? Paying for flight time like this is like getting a whore....
  2. Getting a flying job the old fashion way is like earn the affection of a beautiful woman.
With this said, who is going to proclaim the first too the world? That is a skeleton you would want to keep in your closet... Point is your future employer will find this skull&bones...

You can be mean and send the place an all night fax with a continuous loop of paper thru the machine, if one is local to them.

Or you can be even more mean and send your "friends" resumes to them.

Better yet, why not make your friends resume loop thru the fax continously
:)

First off....don't kid yourself with the whore comment. Wife, girlfriend, dating, whatever. Your still paying for it. The pro is much more affordable in the long run.
Second....most men don't "earn" the affection of a beautiful woman as you mean it. Truly beautiful women ( I'm taking cream of the crop) like money, handsome men, and money. In that order.

Very true. And remember, you're not paying a hooker for the sex - you're paying for her to leave afterwards!

sad but true

Saddy, there are pilots that would jump at this. Pay for training, what training? Maybe an hour or two and a 135 check ride. It's only a PA-31.

Also the SIC can log SIC if the operator requires an SIC on his certificate. This is done a lot for insurance reasons, and on empty legs/repos he can log PIC. He does this and in 3 months he has the time to apply to a bottom feeding regional and then he's flying a replacement jet 4 $20,000 a year and on food stamps. Unless you fly 4 Mesa then the company won't allow you to apply 4 stamps. All this in chace of getting that 6 figure salary that major airline pilots make or soon to be use ta make.

Would you like some frys with that?
