I heard that Henry George paid back a bunch of people last week because CAT was furloughing its people.......is that true?

Did you get a furlough letter yet? I know of many people who told me they did. My boss has yet to be informed fully about the cargo industry, FROM EXPERTS IN THE FIELD, not just from a meeting with CAT management. The "ONLY" person who's interestes I have in mind are my bosses, so nothing is said and done yet. If its not a good deal it won't happen. Especially with a company that has dinasours as airplanes and ZERO business for them. It's quite apparent to me and many experts that I've consulted with about this that the ONLY reason Tony Romeo wants to sell it is to "escape" from this industry, rather than keep it going. Desperation is the key word.

I know of one person who got a partial refund on Monday from Henry, but thats it. Supposedly everyone got full refunds, still waiting to here back from a bunch. Its a big matter of ethics, thats all.

I am glad your "Boss" has "experts" advising him/her. I am not an "expert" but I can tell you Tony Romeo is a "businessman" and has made "millions" from CAT and other "cargo" airlines. That's the type of "thing" people like that "do." I don't think Romeo is "desperate."

No offense, but you sorta sound like a jackass as well as your mysterious boss. Something makes me feel like you are full of mr. hankey.

FYI "Ethics" do not exist in south Florida. One would think a 747 flyboy would know that.

Well, PM me with your details. Have you started gaining your 250/250? If so, how far in are you for panel time and/or sic time? You should certainly get a pro-rated refund if you haven't finished all 500, its the only ehtical thing for Henry to do, period.

You need to call Henry and tell him to give you a refund, less what it would cost to get an FE certificate. I know he has paid at least one guy back a partial refund. This is the type of unethical crap I don't think our boss will want anything to do with.

Oh, thats right, contract. Its easier to screw the contract people who paid hundreds of thousands of dollars for training that costs 3 times what its worth, and got nothing for it. Oops, my bad.
