I'll do a better job representing Air Line guys if you do a better job representing MIL guys....

Rez, you are certainly not the person that I want representing me and my airline career.

Ouch. That hurts me when you say that....really.

Nonetheless, and genuinely stated, I'm sure you do an excellent job in military service.

Who are the better pilots? The Air Force or The Navy.

ICEMAN: Have you figured it out yet?

MAV: What's that?

ICEMAN: Whose the best pilot?

MAV:I think I can figure that one out on my own.

ICEMAN: That's what I heard about you...

Its all about the Coast Guard.

Nautical Nazis, Houligan Navy. U'r Screwed Coming or Going, Uncle Sm's Confused Group.

You have to be six feet or taller to get in Coast Guard. That way, if you have to put down in the water, you can wade ashore.

T-Shirt seen on USCGC Mellon worn by LSO, "If you can't hover, you're queer."

The Astronaut program is one of the most competitive if the not THE most competitive in the world. If Chimps and Dogs are riding in compter controlled rockets then why aren't there more Air Force Space Cadets?
Yes it is competitive; however it is not competitive because of the flying skills required. Many of the astronauts aren't even rated. Many of the mission specialists aren't pilots at all. Apples and Oranges my man...Apples and Oranges. Not everyone in the AF wants to be a space cadet, some like flying airplanes. (No disrespect intented to anyone in the astronaut program. I know a few of them and they are outstanding people. Cream of the crop.)

Sorry I missed all of the fun up above, but I was out doing my civ airline job "representing" both the mil career and civ airline career at the same time.

....Oh and let's talk movies... Hollywood has treated the navy alot better.... Top Gun as corney, gay and weak as it was with that total wack-job Tommy Cruise is way better than Iron Eagle I, II and III.

Keep in mind that the USAF had nothing to do with making those Iron Eagle movies (not that they could have improved them if they were involved). Those were all Israeli aircraft.

And the Navy helped the Top Gun clowns.... I remember the recruiters camping out at the theaters....

Top Gun was a great movie! He!!, I still watch it when it's on!

All the Iron Eagle flicks, however, make me want to vomit. I liked the first one as a kid, and I couldn't understand why my old man was screaming at the TV and yelling nasty things about Lou Gosset Jr, but I get it now.
