Excluding the 737, which type-rating would you get if you had the $$$ to get it? And why (employment related)? Thanks

747 without even a thought. It would be cool to say you are Capt qualified on the most biggest passenger plane in the sky. Also cool to have it on your ticket as a Capt type rated pilot. It commands respect.
 
DC-3 and find a weekend gig back and fourth to the islands. Charge Beer and flip-flops for my services..
 
I would say the C500 would be cheap and give you the most options for immediate employment. After that the C525. I think those both cover over 4-5 different "types" of aircraft.
 
How about a Grumman Albatross. I'd love to be able to have a flying boat service running from south Florida to the islands.

CE 500, LR Jet, HS 125. Those 3 alone would give you a wide variety of aircraft to fly!
