Send in applications to all airlines you want to work for. If you receive multiple offers consider the following: domiciles, pay, retirement, future fleet plan, scheduled pilot retirements. After you make a choice, it is still a crap shoot. In May of 01, I applied to the three airlines I thought were the best in their category and would have been happy at any of them. I received three calls in four weeks: DAL, UPS, SWA. I chose DAL. I don't know if it was the correct choice but, I am having a good time and I try not to look back.

Pan Am all the way.

They have first dibs on the Boeing SST (NYC-Tokyo turn -- in under 8 hours!)
And they have been taking reservations to space since the 1960s.

Hi!

Be glad if you get a job offer somewhere.

Just go to where they are still paying good money to do the gig I say

Like in Japan where you aren't close to anything familiar, away from your family, friends, etc? They pay well in Dubai too, but reading PPRUNE it doesn't seem like many are happy with that situation. When are you coming back to the States anyway?

Yeah, but TWA has a much larger domestic feed and their management just bought Hardee's, Canteen Corp., Century 21 and Hilton Hotels to add to the bottom line, making TWA profitable for the foreseeable future.

And, TWA has SST's on order, too.

Can't go wrong.
