I know its a solo cross country and all, but bring a squeeze and take a night in one of the B&Bs. The FAA will understand that you did it for love.
 
You don't have to be that cool, you just have to "let" them think you are. :D Goldiggers use their looks, its only logical to use brains to beat them at their own game........not that I would have any first hand knowledge of that, I just "hear" it works.

i'm glad you only speak for yourself :D

my 'squeeze' isn't coming to visit until august 8. guess i will have to postpone (what an odd word. just look at it!) my long solo X-C til she gets here. of course, i'll have to sneak her on da plane, avoiding my CFI's hawk-like gaze...
 
I say PHNL is ideal for a cross country!

thank you, captain obvious. i only said what i did to fit in with the long X-C conversation that this thread was about. i will have my private by the end of july or i'll be upset with myself.
