It's been a while, but I don't recall having much difficulty arise from distinctions between Domestic, Flag, and Supplemental...

Anyway...

I believe Air France would be considered a foreign carrier. :)

Are UPS & FedEx Non-Skeds?

121 Supplemental (Non-Sked, or Charter)

Champion Air
Ryan International Airlines
TransMeridian Airlines

tonyc, its not that big of a deal, its just hard for me to remember all the fuel req stuff.. and i like to put a picture with the word if you know what i mean?

tr4a, the reason i thought ups and fedex, is that supp says

(ii) All-cargo operations

beats me

dwstl2327 has it correct about FedEx. I don't know about UPS.

FedEx is indeed 121 Supplemental

Rest requirements are markedly different, and FedEx takes advantage of them.

I really hate to open up this string again because it looks like you have it straight in your head for the ATP test.....but......

You really shouldn't think of a specific carrier as falling into one of these categories (domestic, flag, and supplemental). Many carriers have multiple operational authorities that allow them to operate under any one one of these; and then of course the rules that go along with that specific operation will be the ones that need to be followed.
