Whats the true definition??

ok, so i read the def's and whatnot but for a real world example when i am trying to think of this BS while i prep for the ATP written.


correct me if i am wrong please:

Domestic - AirTran, Southwest

Flag - United, Alaska, Air France

Supplemental - UPS, Fedex, ????

I really hate to open up this string again because it looks like you have it straight in your head for the ATP test.....but......

You really shouldn't think of a specific carrier as falling into one of these categories (domestic, flag, and supplemental). Many carriers have multiple operational authorities that allow them to operate under any one one of these; and then of course the rules that go along with that specific operation will be the ones that need to be followed.
