Fly Delta because our CEO is sober.

Fly Delta, our pilots are arrogant a$$holes and it shows.

Let me guess? Turned down? Yup. That's okay. If you need to vent a little more, go right ahead....

Bye Bye--General Lee

"Leaving Atlanta 500 hundred times a day, isn't it time you got on"?

"Delta brings you more ways to leave your lover"!

"Fly Delta Jets - ours are big enough for CHINA!"

"DAL, representin' the A-T-L better than DTP during Freaknik."

"Delta - because you never know when you'll need a wind check"

I ain't pissed PYLT. We all knew this merger wasn't happenin'. I just want to divert General Lee's attention for a while. Its kinda my own private game. You see... I post something I know he won't like and then see how many responses he makes over the life of the thread.

My hope is to get it to where he posts one third of a 5 page thread. I just haven't got the right one yet. The fun thing is, even now that I've spilled it and he knows he's being manipulated he'll still answer within the next 5 responses, he's like a circus.

I'll be in my cave... got to finish up my BA in Basket Weaving from Paymenow University.

"For that good old Delta sevice, fly Airtran."

I fly both, and IMHO they have traded places when it comes to service.

My personal, all-time fave:

"We're upping our standards....so up yours!"

"Good goes around... just not around here"

"We're not happy 'til your not happy"

Or the old standby... "We love to fly, and it be showin' like a mutha f'er"

Yeah, Shuttle Americka took over one to St. Croix, and then an MD88 got it back. Those E170s are not very economical long distance, and that came from Jim Whitehurst---DL COO. He said that is why more of them are flying shorter routes against Airtran.(Moline, Sarasota, Gulfport, etc) But, they sure are comfortable, compared to those CRJs....

Exactly, but why do we still do JFK-AUS? The ST Croix thing was because it's more popular in the winter, hence the MadDog (DAL gate agents told us). However, both UAL and DAL are using the EMB better. Now, how 'bout those CRJ900s?

I gotta vote for "Good reaches around" so far. But the up yours slogan was pretty good too.

I'll let you borrow one from ASA:

"We aim to please; but just miss alot"

They still do JFK-AUS because Jetblue does it. Jim Whitehurst, our COO, has complained about the expense of flying those things long distances, hence you see less doing the Midwest to SLC runs. (CHM still does it, but that may be it) He said it just doesn't produce enough revenue on longer flights, and that is why they are being deployed on shorter runs to compete with Airtran. Yes, they still go to Mazatlan 3 days a week from SLC, but that may be taken by a CR9 soon. If you fly them, expect more Gulfport and Moline runs.

Bye Bye--General Lee

Y'all missed the most famous...At Delta we are learning to fly and it shows..

Or use our favorite at Alaska..."your business is very important to us and we are not happy until you are not happy"

Now general dont beat me up yet...I jumped on you guys ATL to GSP and was treated well and that was after coming off of an International round trip 40 minutes prior on DAL that I paid for and that was a good experience as well...So I think that my 15 year hiatus from DAL is now officially over

I use this one on my wife a lot. I think it could work for Delta...
"Just sit back, relax and try to enjoy it. It will be over before you know it."

I don't know if this can be combined with a DAL slogan, but at NWA our motto is , "we love to fly where it snows"....:)
