Last time he flew the line flight attendants were hot and young.

The last time he flew the line was 2007. Not exactly a long time ago.

I remember four years ago when Captain Woerth was up for reelection, and Captain Prater was running against him. All of the typical flightinfo morons were moaning on and on about how Duane was "out of touch" and didn't remember what it was like to be a line pilot. They all hailed John as the savior that would bring us out of the slump from years of post-9/11 concessions. It didn't take long for all of you to turn against him, too, and make the same ridiculous claims that you made against Duane. It's just as untrue about John as it was about Duane.

It's easy to criticize the people that are working to make life better for pilots. It's a lot harder to step up and do something about it yourself. How 'bout you try doing the harder thing and see if you can do any better.

Wow, brown nose much? Captain, Captain Captain! You are truly sad.

Is it true that CAL's union reps and MEC include some of the EAL scabs?

Yes. Not just EAL, CAL's own scabs and superscabs (those hired during the strike with zero morals, in time of no selection) are running around MEC too. They sell the brothers and that's how they get into the management jobs.
The official unions position - the scabs are forgiven. Even to post a scab list endorsed by the union would be very illegal.

Prater was on CAL strike for the whole time. He is OK. Most crossed the line by the end.

Does this sound like anything else? How about our current President and his Administration? Tainted with communist, socialist and the very people who want to destroy our country. Now they're running it.
Just like CAL's MEC.

Maybe they'll socialize the airlines like before. Fingers crossed.

Many have. They've changed careers in pursuit of higher pay and better work rules.

Not exactly current either.
The industry was also in a better state in 2007.
If you had a captain jump into the airplane and say "Hey, I've been on medical leave for the the last 3yrs!"....Are you going to tell him "that's not exactly a long time, I'm sure you're going to do just fine. I'll be over here reading USA Today, let me know if you need anything."
You think he's caught up to speed on all the new procedures and profiles? How about on all the little stuff like hotels, van departure times?
No, this guy is going to be absolutely clueless, much like your savior, CAPTAIN Prater.
