In many aspects I completely agree with you. I don't see an upswing either and if anyone believes that the late 1990's will return then they need to be put into a mental ward. One thing I do believe is that the end is in sight for the 40-69 pax regional jet. They are still, with cheap labor, too expensive to operate. Another thing passengers hate them. They are fine on hour to 1.5 hour flights but longer than that I can't stand being on them and I'm a relatively small person. The future will be in the emb170's, 175's, 190's, 195's, and the Dornier series if it ever returns. The big question is who will fly them?
