So although the "rich" pay a substantial amount more money than the rest of the population as you admit you want the government to forcibly take more from them. In the interest of fairness i would imagine. But once again this is envy, bold faced and unflinching.
So in your view do you deserve to take more from the "rich." Or is it like Biden alludes to is it their patriotic duty to give more of "their" money to the governemnt for wealth redistribution.
Do the have nots deserve the haves money.
And if so what have they done to deserve it...I know not all rich people deserve their money but a vast majority do like you have said (doctors, lawyers , et. al) do deserve their money and it would be "fair" if they got to keep what they earned.

Doctors, lawyers, and pilots do not fall into my definition of "rich". The government has to get its money from somewhere, and yes, I would prefer they "steal" a little less from me and a little more from Warren Buffett.

Well at least your willing to admit that success should be punished.
I personally believe a flat tax will be the way to go as an alternative to the current progressive loop hole riden system. That way we will all be equal before the government.
And no more tax rebates for those who don't pay taxes.

What are you talking about? How is charging a fair rate on capital gains as a primary source of income "punishing" anybody? Why should I be punished for "only" earning $100,000 a year?

You feel slighted and want others punished for achieveing at a greater extent than yourself.
And in order to "rightsize" you would rather others get punished than the burden lifted off us all is very telling how you hate and the "evil rich." Even under the democrat beloved clinton captial gains tax was reduced and the economy was booming. Everytime you raise taxes you have to realize there is the law of unintented results. When all the wealth has been redistributed who will provide the jobs....who will provide capital when were all equal...the government?
But i will continue love living making my 35k hoping to keep it all and affording what i can and i hope you get to keep all you 100k and afford everything you can. I don't want you to pay more money than me since you make more because i understand that is your money you made with your work. Yet i also understand the millionaires money is his own as well.
I guess i am content with having what i have and don't look upon my neighbors with greed and envy.
