Let me get this straight--Someone actually scored with a chick after telling her he was a pilot?

WOW! It does work! Guess I'm just trying it on the wrong age group...TC

It's not the age group, it's your line... Just tell them that you're a "Gulfstream Pilot." That's got to work... Good luck!

He didnt just tag that, he hit that!! Apparently from behind too!!

I don't even know where to start. First, if this girl is lying, then she is a selfish child who is causing her friends and family an enormous amount of grief, time and probably money. Their names will always be associated with this experience. If she is lying, the pilot in jail is still going to pay for this encounter for a long time and will forever be trying to live it down to his friends, family and will have a very long road ahead to clear his name in his career field.

If she's not lying (and someone has apparently found her believeable if he is in fact sitting in jail awaiting trial), then she is enduring an endless loop of memories of the incident, questioning if she is doing the right thing, regretting talking to him, agonizing over what her family and friends are also having to contend with, and dreading getting on that witness stand. There would not be a cave deep or dark enough for her to crawl into and hope to die in if she were to read these insensitive posts (and if the defendent is innocent, this same feeling would apply to him).

Those of you making the rude comments on here obviously find rape an entertaining issue and some other uncultured idiot made a later post joking about the defendent getting the "hi five" from enduring rape inside the jail system. If you only knew how many of the women in your lives are probably rape survivors. Your own mothers may have been through it but back in those days you just didn't tell anyone. Your own sisters may have gone to a party and come home and stayed in bed for days. The dropped grades, isolated behavior and personality changes may have been attributed to a fight with a boyfriend or a crush gone bad. In reality, it could be that she had a life altering experience at that party that she could never tell anyone about. The women you fly with, dine with, joke with and treasure as friends may have a night in their memories that would make you wonder how they can even begin to tolerate or trust sitting in close quarters with a man.

As for the AIDS virus, anyone you know could be carrying it over one careless night or one night when the choice was taken from him/her.

My point is that most people who have never been personally forced to process these crises have no idea how widespread these issues are. Maybe before you go on making jokes about pains that make a person question their strength to go on another day, consider that someone you care about may be hiding this very secret. Many of you have little girls. How do you feel knowing that there are millions of men out there that they will be vulnerable to in the near future? And God forbid it happening to her, but what if it does? How are you going to feel when you remember how you posted on an internet site, for all the world to see, a record that will never be erased,

"He didnt just tag that, he hit that!! Apparently from behind too!!"

"YES! THAT ROCKS!"

"Let me get this straight--Someone actually scored with a chick after telling her he was a pilot?

I'm not trying to hang this pilot -- I don't know what happened. But these aren't issues to joke about. If you can't have respect for the pilot who may be wrongly accused or for the girl involved or for the issues of rape or AIDS, at the very least, take another look at your entire computer screen. There are photos of the man who gave you this forum with his children. He won't be there to protect his children from attitudes like this. His family and friends are monitoring this site now, and they deserve more respect and sensitivity than to see his picture on the same page as this nonsense.

If he's wrongly accused, good for him, if not, sux for him. Either way, he still got a piece!!!
So relax, he f-ed up either way!!!:p

By the way, nice tall white horse!

Well, that was met with the level of intelligence I expected. Better hope your identity never gets out to your flight attendants, if you fly with them. How do you take your coffee?

It's funny you say that, because I've been dating a FA for 3 years, and she has no complaints on how I treat her!!!!:p
As for intelligence, he's the one that f-ed up, not me. :smash: It's called a sense-of-humor, I suggest you get yourself one!!!!;)

Also, I take my coffee like I take my women-light and sweet!!!!

...

The pilot was being held due in large part to a very high bail limit set by the judge (much higher than normally assigned in such a case, but perhaps they felt he was a higher risk). He has subsequently made bail and is out.
