I think they wanted to wait until the "new improved" parings came out so pitchforks wouldn't be at the meeting.

He did genuinely look scared about the effects of the proposed ATP requirements. Not the first time I've heard him talk about it either. Other than that same old story for the 10mins I was there.

There's a whole list of things to attract new pilots into the industry. Pay and benefits are not on it.

Apparantly ipads are being tested at ASA. I imagine the cost savings from shipping, printing, OJI claims, etc off set the initial costs. Heck, add $500 in each check for a month and let everyone run out and get one. I've got the Jepp app and all the co. manuals/training material on mine and it is AMAZING!!! Bring a 1.5 lb tablet to work, or a 40 lb bag!!!!!
