A grooved runway can be wet, it will not have standing water. The Dry/Damp condition can only be used for take off not landing. If there is any rain while landing the runway is wet never dry, grooved or ungrooved. There were some that were teaching the grooved runway is never wet a number of years ago. I thought that had been cleared up, guess not.:(

Yep, really! That is the statement made in our performance computer as far as runway conditions are concerned. If you happen to have standing water on a grooved runway you may have weather conditions that make that fact the least of your problems.:)
