Sitting in the back it sounds like your car battery is dead and starter motor is dying?
 
Bo, that must be it, why doesn't the Boeing bark?
 
Because the cargo doors on a boeing are manually operated. On the Airbus, they are hydraulic.

On the 75, 76, and 77 the doors are hydraulic. I used to open them every day as a ramper for Delta!
 
I should have been more specific. I was comparing the airbus with the Boeing 737.
 
PTU

On the A320, the PTU goes through a self test when the 2nd engine is started. This is the "barking" that you refer to. PTU allows one hydraulic system to be powered by the opposite system.

Don't know anything about the Boeing...
