Here's a good one....

You know Willow Creek in Barrington? Besides from acres and acres in friggin Barrington (where MJ used to live so you know it's expensive) and a huge pavillion, they have a private jet. My friend goes there and I was giving her $hit about it one day and she said that it was for the pastors to fly around and preach. She claimed that it's MUCH cheaper to "just have a jet than pay for all those airline tickets."

Wow, glad to see they finally bought thier own. The company I worked for was leasing the Lears to them, glad to see they talked them into buying a jet. I wonder if Priester is managing it for them.

Amen, brother! We used to do a few trips for a local televangelist. He flew in his GIII, everyone else flew in the Lear 25. Every time I saw him, he was driving a new car - Mercedes, Bentley, you name it. I see him on public access all over the SE. The gist of his sermon - God wants you to be rich. If you're not rich, you're doing something wrong...

They are based at MBS airport in Saginaw, MI. They used to fly a king air but now have a west wind. they go through copilots pretty quick. the captain has worked there forever and i hear is very particular. the pastor flys all over and you are required to attend the services. word of advice, stay away.

I haven't read anything on this thread that indicates anybody is bothered by God.

I think most of us are, in fact, very bothered by child molesting and those who are general dirtbags. As for porn...know any good sites?

God is cool!

Her worshipers, unfortunately, often spend more time in the Transmit mode than the Recieve mode.

All that $hit bothers me too.....porn doesn't bother me that much except that after you see a few, it's the same old same old.

Some other things that bother me....

Liars
Cheaters
Lazy people that are not contributing members to society
People that litter
People that butt into other people's business
Moratoriums on the death penalty
Terrorists
Rapists
Murderers
Thieves
People that have children that taxpayers end up paying for
The fact that we are too lenient on criminals in this country
Frivolous lawsuits
Greedy SOB executives
People that spend more energy trying to scam things than working for them

this is a great post but could get boring getting responses from bible thumpers....but here I go. I usually avoid religion in the flight deck for a good reason.......I piss off people with my views...and that view is......do not try to convert me, and convince me I am wrong with my views......I do not do that with you, so shut up and keep your religion to yourself! Now with a job like this one posted, if they are like any other nutcase ministry.......they should be asking to get those who do not want to go to religious services, so they can convert and SAVE THEIR SOUL! AMEN and let jesus make every landing a smooth one
