Thats actually a large metal globe that sits in his front yard. The picture that was linked is rather old. I've been there on the ground several times and I must say it is pretty impressive to see a 707 and G2 in his backyard.

Its one of the more interesting runways I've landed on mostly because of it's width, lack of proper striping, and huge displaced thresholds. The centerline stripes are only about 12" wide, not wide enough for a nearly 300' wide runway, and the runway slopes up a bit causing a pretty wicked landing illusion. There is also a 500' tall antenna about 1 mile south of the 18 departure end.

There is a fly in brunch on the first Sunday of every month at the countryclub; I do believe you have to be on their email list for an invite though.
