What version of SWA are you flying on? The one I work at is full of grandma's, gay men, and fat (borderline morbidly obese) flight attendants. Why anyone would even consider going to a room party with what we have back there is beyond me. Yuck!!! it makes me shudder just thinking about it. You are much better off watching a spanctervision porn and rubbing one out alone in your room.

Wha ??!?!?!?! Now it doesn't happen on every trip...but I've been to a few room parties that have been legendary.

Flown with some great gals, who after a few, were more then willing to show their "stuff". Some room parties have never made it to the room...i.e. TPA awhile back...got as far as the jacuzzi outside...I've heard that the hotel now has a security camera by that pool/jacuzzi

The Capts I hear the FOs complain about the most come from the civilian side. No kidding.

When I hear or read "kernal" I usually think, there goes another loser who got turned down by the local recruiter... not qualified for flight school... never had the chance to employ an aircraft in combat or combat support... never fired a shot in anger, or received incoming fire... has an enormous chip on his shoulder... doesn't respect those who were fortunate enough to serve our great country and make it home alive... probably a nobama supporter... I feel bad for them, really, I do. They use the word as a derogatory against veterans, but it only reflects negatively on them.

By the way, it's STIPEND, not stippen.

A stipend is a form of payment or salary, such as for an internship or apprenticeship. Stipends are usually lower than what would be expected as a permanent salary for similar work.

I hear SW likes to hire Colonels and they usually get a leg up on guys when it's time to pick check airmen. I'm hoping to become a check airman with the airline so I can hook up my buds. Being a colonel probably won't hurt my chances.

By the way, it's STIPEND, not stippen
.

Thanks. I'll forward it to Benhunt since he spelled it wrong and he called it a stippen originally. Oops. We meant stipend.

Swa guy and I make the same the difference is I never pick up or vja. I know what I am doing every day of the month. My VJA is called a stippen from Uncle Sam for 28yrs of service.

I don't know what good this thread does but I will say one thing. A three day or a four day with anal retentive CA's is absolutely miserable. Most do fit that stereotype but there are civilian guys who are just as anal retentive as the aformentioned stereotype. Most of us here can fly...just let us do our job and you too shall be stress free. Some of these guys stress themselves to no end for no good reason.
