Hey why are you quoting me? I was defending you with this "Smarta$$" guy. He said to enjoy the 9E RJ girl, so I wrote "didn't you" in response to Smarta$$.

My mistake I don't know what happen. It was for company man smartarse.

I love when VX newbies spout sunshine about the company. I've seen 5 sea changes in the 5 years I've been here. Management always waxes on about their latest great strategy, and though my last three trips have been 100% full, who knows? Nearly everyone here settles down and accepts the fact that we are just line pilots, no better or worse than any other. Don't hang us as a group. As for the Spirit vs Virgin debate, we'd ALL be better off at a legacy.

I will never leave Spirit for a legacy...

5 Seattle changes?

BoeingBaller, never say never!

My previous comments about Spirit were a bit harsh without knowing a whole lot about what I was talking about. The only things I go by are what I see and what those I talk to tell me about (no Spirit pilots). Obviously I have gotten an undue impression about how they operate. I have no ill will towards the pilots and I apologize.

Classy move. I've waited years to get back to the West Coast, and thankfully VX is giving me the opportunity, so I'm taking it. There are a lot of variables we all consider when choosing a company, and they matter to us individually. Taking pride in our companies and showing a competitive spirit is a good thing. This industry has taken some very unfortunate turns and we find ourselves wondering who will make it in the end, but we don't know. Hopefully, everyone makes it. Hopefully, we all wish the best for the next guy and that his career will prosper.

Hello VX Captains & First Officers -

We have reached critical coverage levels on TUESDAY (JUNE 4TH), and need your help to avoid cancellations and stranded guests. CSS is offering PREMIUM PAY (as of this email) to any right seat qualified Captains or First Officer that can assist by covering any open pairings that are currently in open time pot or may become available originating TUESDAY (June 4th).

If you are able to help please call or email CSS ASAP. All requests will be processed first-come, first-serve and premium pay will apply to a straight pick-up only. You may also log onto FLICA and pick up from the open time pot. If you elect to use the FLICA method please be sure to email CSS so we can apply the correct premium pay coding.

VOLUNTARY AVAILABILITY:
As per the Pilot Rule Book, Chapter 6, E.5: Effective June 1st, 2012, the pilot will receive the greater of scheduled or actual block time flown to which he is assigned while on WTF. Per the Pilot Rule Book, Chapter 11, B.5.a.iii, if a Company sends out an email offering premium pay for pairings on days with low reserve coverage, premium pay will be subject to the terms described in the email. CSS considers any trip assignment voluntary (WTF) when solicited for premium pay on a pilots day off, and premium pay will be per Chapter 6, E.5 whenever an email offers premium pay for pairings on days with low reserve coverage.

Thank you in advance.

This guy's got it right.
As far as leaving for a legacy it all depends on ones age and seniority, among other things.
