VORs IN THE WRONG STATE.

I know it's not strike talk or interview questions, but maybe this board needs a cooling off period.

I don't know why I have an interest in this, but I know of three VORs that are in the wrong state:

ODF - Foothills is listed in Toccoa, Ga, but it's actually in South Carolina.
GQO - Choo Choo isn't in Chattanooga, Tenn., it's actually in Georgia.
ZUN - Zuni isn't in New Mexico, it's in Arizona.

Anybody know any others? This can't be the only three.

Yeah I guess ETX would be in that category. So would SBV (South Boston, VA.)

Hey if you think this is bad, I know a pilot who photographs VORs!

cvg stands for covington and that is in kentucky

You are correct. And CVG VOR is not in Covington, it's in Burlington. CVG Airport is in Erlanger and I believe the western boundry may be in Hebron and/or Burlington.

I've also heard that the most crossed over VOR in the U.S. is DJB (Dryer) near Cleveland. More almost useless VOR trivia!
