Did they make the two pilots pick up trash in the parking lot prior to the flight and thus the highway construction workers vests? Also, can anyone share the insight on the parachute being towed behind the tail? I hope all 787s come with that feature.

It's a small drag chute that helps with pitch stability in the landing configuration. It's designed to help weaker pilots, but is an expensive option. CAL ordered them for all its 787s.

Very true. However, it also measures static pressure during testing.
