The salaries abroad are also based on a minimum of hours per roster, beyond that they get paid by the minute just like we do, the only difference is that their minutes are paid handsomely

I thought maybe that video was sped up, as well, but looking the rate of flashing of the beacons I don't think so. If it was sped up you'd see a lot more flashes.

Does it really matter how much you "focus"? Isn't probation a fixed time period?

It's the camera angle/lens. It isn't bent when u see it in person...

If you look closely at the front view photo, what appears to be a bent vertical stab is actually the A380 winglet. The top of the vertical stab can be seen where it should be just above the fuselage. Someone else had to point it out to me, much like the FedEx arrow.
