Just curious if any crewmembers here have for example deadheaded in the back and used the WiFi on an airplane that has it installed? I wonder if there is going to be a way to get the login/password for crewmembers so you dont have to pay the user fee? Also wondering if any guys will be tempted to check stocks, ebay auctions, etc up front with their WiFi PDA phones? Thoughts, experiences?

General Lee??? ;)

From the cockpit, crew rest area and probably lavatory! Can you imagine what his post count will climb to now?:D

Ha Ha I didnt think about that. GL could post on F.I. all day long right from the cockpit:)

It's not free, so not for me.....I can wait until the layover to use my laptop...

we really don't care about your personal problems.... Keep your "laptop" to yourself.

Your RJs are leaving the DL "family" fast, so I think you should be concentrating on your own problems. You may want to invest in a laptop yourself to start searching for a male stripper job in Mexico, or maybe a male escort job in Macau. They probably would love you over there, and you could tell them all about your RJ while they rub you down.

That stinks. In the new contract we are guarenteed free wifi at all hotels.....maybe we should have included on the plane (in the back of course!).

No no read the PWA again. It states that the company would "try" to get internet included in the new hotels deals. It does not say no matter what the cost.
Most the time DAL takes the lowest rate, up to and including taking a food discount to a lower percentage to get the best rate possible. Do not kid your self.
It took a lot of work to get that language in the PWA. What it does not mean is that we will see anything change.

(Alert--Whatisitdoing!! This is a DAL negative from ACL!!!!)
