Parker has to keep the airline a size which suits his managerial abilities; which are limited. After all, this is the management team that gave up rights to Shanghai just a couple years ago. Service to a city with a population of 20 mil including surrounding areas? Naw, couldn't make money there. What on earth could he do with a global airline like AA? Horton is right on this one.

Don't forget NEW YORK. Parker says US Airways can't make money there too.!!! BS. Well, who can make money with RJ's today.?
