Looking for an initial cadre of one CA and one FE to help write manuals, set up training programs, etc mostly office stuff, but they will be line qualified. All other seats to be filled via internal bid in seniority. Adding about 8-10 pilots F/E's Hence hiring lots of DC-9 and Falcon pilots in the next 4-6 months. No decision on F/E's needing A&P professional F/E

Would there be any major advantage to A&P/PFEs in the operation vs pilot/FEs ?

If bidding for the new 727 openings is by seniority, are any of your current pilots likely to leave a pilot seat to be an FE ?

At any rate, it's a fun airplane to fly.

FE A&P can sign off maintenance on the road, something important when flying really old airplanes with DMI's

Very true. I take it you don't have your own MTC personnel most places you go ?

How many crews/airplane do you normally run ?

We are like tramp steamers, we just float around the county to find the cargo, only places we have maintenance is YIP and LRD. We are going to crew the 727 at 4:1 for one airplane

My father and a few uncles have flown the 727 and maintain it is the best airplane they ever flew... Will be cool to see a few more flying.
