I'm sure he would never have asked for it(being thrust into the limelight), that's for sure.
 
They both seem like really nice guys and consumate professionals. I would be thrilled to share a cockpit with either of them. I think Jeff and Sully have shown the public and all of us how a professional airline pilot should look and act.

I think the flight attendants as well showed a very professional demeanor and have exercised a level of decorum that the incident and public spotlight deserves.

I seem to remember Jeff saying something to the effect of being "more than over" all of the attention. I'm sure they both are ready to get on with their lives.

Here's to the entire crew for being a bright spot on a sometimes dingy industry.
 
Geeze, that was completely hilarious!

I'd fly in either seat with either of them any day...as long as I was getting paid enough to cover the bar tab at the end of the day 'cause those are two dudes that should never, ever open their wallet in a pub for the rest of their lives!
