So, if the DOJ is successful in blocking this for some reason, what happens to the raises for the USAir pilots? Will there be an increase in NOV? Ouch. At least the West guys will get the NIC award most likely, that could help them with future upgrades.

You r stupider than horse********************. If merger is blocked, NIC is deader than ever, for now.

What's it like to have a single digit IQ?

Don't you guys know how to get a merger done in this administration? Just move your headquarters from Texas to downtown Chicago.

Take away QE1, QE2, QE3, and "Operation Twist", how much would the economy have grown under the Obama Administration? It's actually very easy to see why we had "growth". But hey, lets not look at ALL the facts, just the convenient ones.

And the Bush economy, which ended so terrible as it did, would have been a giant crater throughout, without the housing bubble propping it up....

Don't worry, Barry and his band of thugs will keep printing money so everything will be good. That and the creation of more part time jobs so more people will need to join the food stamp program and become dependant on Government hand outs.

Who and what political party were the ones to relax the oversight and the rules on who could qualify for a house? Who were the ones who decided that everyone deserves a house? I'll help you it was the Dems that enabled the speculation and made the housing collapse possible which in turn took the economy with it.

Who was in control of both the houses when the economy started to tank? Who held the purse strings when it all started to go to hell. Once again the Dems. Who has been printing money at a rate of 85 BILLION a month and spending a rate that has nearly doubled our national debt? The dems. Who were in complete control of all branches of the government for two years yet nothing seemed to get done except more blame on the GOP which afterword has a slim majority in one branch of the government?

GL. Is a lot of things, but not stupid . Not sure what he actually does, but he knows the industry better than most on here

You might want to look in the mirror on your stupiderer er.

He might not be stupid, but he's wrong in this case and he's not particular informed about the details, he just likes to chime in on any US Airways thread with his one-liners about integrity and "final and binding". Without the merger there is no clear roadmap for an integrated seniority list of any kind and it could easily drag on another 5 years. The current DFR case will be put on hold. Even if a judge eventually rules that the NIC must be used, and it holds up on the inevitable appeal, you still have to get the pilot group to vote on a new contract that includes the NIC.

Basically this news is devastating for everyone, there are no winners, not even the travelling public.

And you're stuck with $33 an hour for a few more years.....Who now had a single digit IQ? (Your group) Ouch! How do your top 500 feel about STILL not getting higher pay for their final few years before retirement? They stuck with the home team, all the way to the end. I bet they wish they had voted otherwise. You and your union suck, and fewer dollars will go into your pocket as a result. Too bad.... I still make $25 more per hour than your Captains on the 320. And NO, I won't buy you Starbucks, you have been banished to Econolodge room coffee for the next few years. Enjoy it, sport. Bye!

That all may be the case, but it still doesn't get away from the fact that one group does lack integrity, still...... And, I will continue to give that same opinion until that wrong is corrected.
