I was thinking similar, as the most recent bid shows increasing flying vs decreasing 3:1, and I hear the E190 FO reserves are being overworked.

Why do you think furloughs are likely?
 
East Bus drivers being overworked too according to my surfer buddy, but then again he thinks work is "work". (say's he's doing 90 some hr lines..)
 
It is true we've been hearing they're short-staffed and will have trouble flying the schedule as presently staffed but then again this is usair prepare to be disappointed.

The back side crews are screwed, too...82 open trips in CLT today. Granted, it was a holiday, but still...
 
Part of the problem at Airways right now is the European flying on the widebodies. Having three pilots over 60 for a particular flight is becoming a daily scheduling headache, and every day that passes is only getting worse. I would imagine that recalls would have to be placed in the next perm. bid.
 
PHX reserves are all 90+ hours for the past couple months. There just trying to make it through the summer.
