There was an article in the USA today about how e jets are the greatest thing since youporn. And republic pilots are the only ones skilled enough to fly a plane with monkey bars.

I hadn't heard about the 5 new jets but makes sense to me. I thought they'd wait until merger was yay or nay before making changes, but with the delay till the end of the year the managers hafta come up with some other busy work, and the training dept needs something to do also now that the 737's are on their way out. Only so many "safety audits" one can do and still look relevant.
